The Five Guys All the Way Burger is a no-nonsense classic that feels like it was made to satisfy a serious burger craving. The bun does its job. It is soft yet a bit forgettable and the sauces add some nice flavours without stealing the show.
Where The Five Guys All the Way Burger really shines is in its toppings: the mix of grilled mushrooms, onions, and pickles brings a burst of flavour and texture that keeps every bite interesting. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, balancing out the rich beef, which, while tasty, could use a bit more juiciness. Presentation wise, it’s not much to look at. The burger is a little messy, a little chaotic, but that’s part of its charm. The burger is served in a paper bag, even if you eat in. It’s the kind of burger you unwrap, dive into, and don’t think too hard about. The Five Guys All the Way Burger is comforting, flavourful, and satisfyingly imperfect.
Where Five Guys deserves some extra credit is in the fries department. The cajun fries that they serve are big in taste and in quantity.
