The Burger Club – cheeseburger is a simple cheeseburger, exactly as a cheeseburger should be. Minimal toppings, but all of them top quality. Great cheese, fresh tomato, and a silky onion compote to finish the burger perfectly.
The cheeseburger is a true classic hamburger. When you keep it simple, great ingredients have to do all the talking, and Burger Club’s cheeseburger absolutely delivers. At this cozy spot on Nieuwe Binnenweg, in Rotterdam’s lively Oude Westen, we tucked into their cheeseburger made with locally sourced MRIJ beef. The patty is beautifully tender and generously sized, giving you plenty of that rich, beefy flavor.
What really takes this burger to the next level is the silky onion compote, perfectly balanced by crisp, fresh tomato and lettuce. All of it comes together on a pillowy-soft brioche bun, making every bite comfort-food perfection. But this bun is so generously sized that taking a neat bite can be a bit of a challenge.
